Ideas for centerpieces

So i have been umming and arring over teacups with flowers as centerpieces and are they too small for a table of ten so i have found a way to raise them up that is totally glam........BOOKS! vintage books! very eclectic and i am obsessed with reading, tell me what you think. I am back to work today after a day off with food poisoning (turns out im not lactose intolerant) a bit of  hypochondria....eep. But one way to make you  feel better? Borders having a sale on photo frames and cushions so i went a bit nuts on the way home from the doctor (and in between throwing up).  Have posted images below because i love them so much :)
